JOSH GILLIES – AUGUST 2009
The winner of the first SpartansFans Player of the Month for 2009/2010 season goes to new boy Josh Gillies.
Youngster Josh had a belated start to his Spartans career as he was on trial at Scottish Premier League side Motherwell, but has impressed everyone at the club with the pace, skill and eagerness to get on the ball.
He managed his first competitive goal against Corby Town as he finished off a slick, passing move and has been heavily involved in alot of the good things that the Spartans have done in the month.
He averaged 8/10 for the month and was nominated Star Man in the Corby Town match. Rob Dale and Stephen Harrison came second and third respectively.
