The rematch with Forest Hall Reds turned out to be a scrappy game. Forest Hall Reds opened the scoring when a ball from their defence down the wing was then crossed into the box. We thought it was a cross, but it headed towards goal and over the top of Daniel Brown who could do nothing about it. We were the team putting a lot of pressure on the Forest Hall goal looking to get back into the game and the break came when we got a throw on the left. Byryn Ramsay took the throw which went over the defenders head straight to Joe Todd who placed the ball into the bottom corner to make it 1-1. We then had a couple of corners which Todd took. The first was well delivered and went right across the box but Lewis Best failed to connect with it. On the second, Best managed to get his head to it with the keeper in no mans land, but it went narrowly over the bar. Ramsay in the centre of midfield was mopping up almost everything with Tom Marshall and John Paul Megson playing well in an improving defensive partnership. The second half saw more of the same football with the Forest Hall keeper pulling of some excellent saves to deny Best. One of these was a well taken shot from the corner of the box that was flying into the top corner when the keeper somehow got across and tipped it away. However, the game finished 1-1 and Ramsay picked up Man of the Match.
