TEAM NEWS
Only 18 days previous to this fixture’s date, Spartans were battling in the league with title chasers Skelmersdale and narrowly missed out on picking up points but we have another shot at them as Blyth travel back down in the FA Cup, the prize of being in the hat for the 3rd qualifying round draw. Spartans previously knocked out local side Darlington whilst Skelmersdale beat Radcliffe Borough, of the Evo Stik First Division North.

Blyth will be hoping new signings Joel Dixon, Samuel Perez, Stephen Turnbull and Jonathyn Quinn are all available to make their debuts in the FA Cup for the club. Dan Maguire scored 2 great goals against Darlington in the last round and with Spartans putting twelve goals past Seaton Delaval on Tuesday, the team will be looking forward to giving Skelmersdale a good test.
