DANNY PARKER – JANUARY 2014
The club can announce that the Port of Blyth Player of the Month for January 2014 has been awarded to Danny Parker.
The month has seen the Spartans put in some terrific performances, including the 6-2 win over Stafford Rangers and the recent 3-1 victory over high flying Chorley. At the heart of all of this has been the form of young centre back Danny Parker. a fixture in the team at the start of the season, a combination of injury and the form of Buddle and Purewal, saw Parker endure a spell on the sidelines, but a recent injury to Purewal has seen a return to the Starting XI and this is an opportunity that Danny has grasped with both hands.
