Spartans are on the road once again for the start of a new cup campagin in the FA Trophy. The rivals for Blyth are Farsley AFC of the EvoStik First Division North and are currently sitting 7th respectably. On Tuesday night, a change Spartans side saw out a excellent away point to FC United and continue the run of 1 defeat in the past 11 games. If the game is to end as a draw, the replay will take place at Croft Park on Tuesday 4th November.

Tuesday night saw Captain Robbie Dale, Dan Maguire and Neal Hooks all rested after Saturdays cup win at Leek Town. Arran Wearmouth, Joel Dixon, Matthew Wade and Jonathyn Quinn all started the game hosted at Stalybridge and manager Tom Wade will of been happy with the attitude they shown to wait to get their chances in the starting 11.

– At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, continue to follow the ring road
– Continue over 3 more roundabouts then turn left onto the B6156/ Calverney Lane
– Turn left onto Wesley Street
– Take 2nd right onto Springbank Close
– Turn right onto New Park View
– Take a left onto Newlands and the ground is ahead
