Community | Blyth Spartans under-13s girls vs Whitley Bay Sporting Club under-12s girls – TEXO Challenge Cup

As part of our ongoing community participation, along with our main sponsor TEXO and Port Training Services, Blyth Spartans under-13 girls played Whitley Bay Sporting Club under-12 girls on the 3G pitch at Croft Park last Wednesday evening.

It was well attended by players, coaches, and many family members – the evening started with Vice Chairman Kevin Scott giving all a brief history of The Spartans and Croft Park.

Alan Conway, Brand Executive of TEXO, who organized and sponsored the event including the after-match catering and refreshments, made a thank you speech, and in particular to Port Training Services who later presented a £25 JD sports voucher for the “Girl of the Game” award for both teams.

The “TEXO Challenge Cup” was then awarded at the end of the evening, in a packed Sponsors’ room, to the worthy winners, Whitley Bay Sporting Club which capped off a fantastic evening held by all.
