Saturday’s late late show at Matlock Town ensured that Spartans made it five games unbeaten in all competitions and they will look to make it six as Chorley make the trip to Croft Park tonight.
Tommy Cassidy will await news on the fitness of centre back Carl Jones after the former Gateshead man missed with win at Matlock Town but otherwise should have a fully fit squad available. Striker Craig Farrell(above) will go in search of his seventh league goal of the season which would put him level with Spartans’ top goalscorer in all of last season.
Chorley make the trip to Croft Park on the back of a 1-2 home reverse against Hednesford Town. They currently sit just above mid-table in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League with four wins and three defeats from their seven games. Their top goalscorer is Tom Ince, who has five goals this season, which all came in the League.
