TEAM NEWS
With the game count down to 21 for both Spartans and their opposition on the weekend (Rushall Olympic), being able to make the larger games count will be on the minds of Tom and Lee as we hold our ground as current table toppers. Yes there seems to be plenty football to be played but it comes round quick and fast and full concentration will be required from now onwards. Our visitors on Saturday will surely be a tough test as Rushall themselves are pushing for a playoff spot.

With Dan Maguire out for a few more weeks and Sean Reid going off at Halesowen on the weekend with a leg injury, striking options are stretched. However new signing Wilson Kneeshaw will be available to play.

Robbie Dale converted what was the winning goal at The Grove on Saturday, lifting Spartans to 54 points, four ahead of chasing Salford City, with the Manchester side having a game in hand. Nathan Buddle played the full 90 minutes alongside Ryan Hutchinson as the former Blyth player contributed towards Adam McHugh’s first clean sheet since getting his chance again in between the sticks.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Richard Sneekes – Ex Ajax, Bolton, West Brom and Hull City player. Has two Netherlands Under 21’s caps – been in charge of Rushall since the start of the 2014/15 campaign.

DANGER MAN
Luke Benbow – league joint-top goalscorer on 18.
