The season has finally arrived and we are looking for an even better campaign ahead of us after last year’s success. Unlike last season we start off at Croft Park as we welcome Grantham Town for the first competitive tie of the 2014/15 Evo Stik Northern Premier Divison.
With the positive pre-season only just ending last Friday with a good test with Newcastle United’s U21s, the players and management will be hoping to get off to a flyer.
With the majority of last seasons players staying on for the new campaign, the possible debut list isn’t as large as the last season’s opener. The likes of Peter Jeffries, Alex Nicholson, Chris Bell, Ben Sayer, Jarret Rivers, Chris Moore, Samuel Perez and Dan Hawkins will be hoping Wade will be giving them the nod in front of the Green Army at Croft Park.
IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Jimmy Albans & Wayne Hallcro – Due returned December 2013 and managed to keep Grantham away from the drop.
DANGER MAN
Gregg Smith – Was amongst the scorers in the 4-2 defeat last season and has been scoring comfortably in pre-season for Grantham.
