TEAM NEWS
First home game for Blyth since our 2-1 win over play off chasing Curzon Ashton on the 24th January. With Spartans now 11 games in had on table toppers Skelmersdale and into February, the time for fixtures and the end of the campaign is getting shorter. Result being more midweek fixtures such as tonight’s tie with Frickley Athletic. Blyth will be looking to continue our strong home form with a win, in which would move us to 13th above Rushall and Whitby.

New signing Craig Lynch will be able to make his debut for Spartans tonight if features. Nathan Buddles departure leaves the gap at the heart of the defence to the standby replacement in the shape of Danny Parker, who only lost his original starting place due to his injury against Whitby Town earlier in the season. The teams top league goalscorer is Dan Maguire, who currently sits on 9, closely followed by Robbie Dale on 8. Both the top scorers will be looking to reach their double figures very soon. The third top is Jarrett Rivers, now confirmed to be staying at Blyth, on 4.
