TEAM NEWS
It’s been a great winter of football for Spartans this year and with an unbeaten run building up for 2014 amounting to 3 games, Chorley will be the toughest test from the lot. With only losing 2 league games all season, which they are overdue for … Blyth will be hoping that their visit to Croft Park could upset their title push. Chorley won the reverse fixture back in September.

Blyth may be without 2 important faces for Saturday’s tie, with striker Dan Maguire being invited for a week’s trial at Oldham Athletic and Paul Robinson completing the last game of his 3 match suspension. But at Ashton last Saturday a returning Arran Wearmouth scored his first goal since August in the 3-3 draw to Worksop.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Garry Flitcroft – Ex Football League player, been at Chorley since May 2010.

DANGER MAN
James Dean – Powerful striker with non-league experience. Scored twice in the reverse fixture defeat.
