MAN OF THE MATCH

Glen Taylor

An early stomach injury to captain Graeme Armstrong, could have caused problems for the Spartans attacking options, but Taylor once again showed that he was up for the battle with a determined display allied with both finesse and composure.

He seeled his man of the match display with a well taken strike from 20 yards, following a mazy run which saw him glide past a couple of players. This was part of a strong fightback from 2-0 and restored parity for the Spartans. It will also have given manager food for thought as who to include in his starting line up.
