In this mornings draw for the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup Blyth were drawn away to Vauxhall Motors. The game will take place on 25th Sptember.
The Club has decided to revert to £1 admission to The Port of Blyth Stand for all classes (as per previous seasons). Instead of the £1.50 full – 50p concessions previously announced for this season, as per usual Season Ticket holders have free entry.
The AGM for Blyth Spartans AFC will be held in the Social Club on Thursday 12th August commencing 7:30pm, it will be followed by an Open Forum at approximately 8:00pm, where the Executive Committee and Manager Mick Tait will be available answer questions.
Blyth Spartans will play at home to Durham City in the final friendly of our build up to the 2010/11 season on Saturday 7th August KO 3pm
The annual Sponsors Evening will take place Thursday 29th July commencing 7:30pm in the Social Club, as usual supporters and sponsors will have the opportunity to sponsor your favourite players kit, have your name in the programme with an area of the pitch sponsored, win 2 season tickets with “Score to Win”. Of course all of these are available in to next season on match days if can’t get along…
A Blyth Spartans select team that will include team mates of Anth and managed by Harry Dunn, will play against a North Shields select team at Croft Park TODAY KO 2pm, admission will be by donation at the discretion of the individual. Blyth Spartans have acted quickly in replacing the departing Gary Neasham with the appointment of Susan Coates as the club’s physiotherapist. Susan spent the previous summer as physiotherapist to Durham Cricket Club second XI and is no stranger to Croft Park having stood in for “Neash” on a number of occasions. Susan will also become Mrs Dale next summer. Welcome Susan.
