TEAM NEWS
After another strong home victory on the weekend, Spartans return to their remaining cup competition in the form of the Northumberland Senior Cup, where we face local rivals Ashington. Casting back to the last competitive fixture against Ashington was a repeat of tonights fixture, the game went to extra time in a closely matched game, Spartans will be hoping for another good game to add to our recent good form, unlike the home side of late.

Tom Wade mentioned in the latest interview that a couple members of the team had picked up knocks so the likes of Kendrick and Purewal may get themselves a run-out, with one eye half casting over the away game at Ilkeston. Dan Maguire will be hoping to continue his goalscoring form and will no doubt be keeping Ashingtons defence awake for the full 90, possibly 120 minutes into the tie.
