Welcome to the new online home of Blyth Spartans AFC.
Our recent success in the FA Cup has demonstrated the level of support that the club has throughout the world and therefore a strong and up to date online presence is essential in keeping the fans abreast of the latest developments within the club.
The club was also keen to combine all of the respective strands of the club (the supporters’ club, social club, ladies team, junior boys and junior girls as well as the first team) under one online umbrella so that fans have a single source for club information and we hope that the new website achieves this.
Features such as Spartans TV will give exiled supporters an opportunity feel more involved with the club, as we bring you highlights from selected games as well as interviews with people from in and around Croft Park and I know that there are more exciting developments which will be incorporated within the website as it develops over time.
The club is also aware of the strong role it plays within the local community and it is hoped that the website becomes a tool to promote the good work that the club and the ‘Playing for Success’ operation, based at Croft Park, carries out in and around the Blyth Valley area.
