Blyth Spartans can confirm that they have agreed to part ways with Nolberto Solano. The club would like to place on record its thanks to Nobby for his efforts while at Spartans. Assistant manager David Stockdale will take charge of the squad as the interim manager ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie.

Nobby Solano reflects on Saturday’s defeat to Worksop Town

Phil Castiaux spoke to Nobby Solano following a dramatic second half that ultimatley ended in defeat for the Spartans. After a goalless first half, Billy Gordon put Blyth ahead with a stunning long-range strike. However, Worksop responded quickly, with Liam Hughes equalising minutes later. David Stockdale revealed as assistant manager

Blyth Spartans can confirm that David Stockdale has joined the club as assistant manager. Joining Spartans, Stockdale will join the backroom staff to be the second in command to current manager Nobby Solano.  Stockdale was most recently at York City in the Vanarama National League where he played four times for the club as a goalkeeper but also served as their Head of Recruitment until his release in April 2024,…
