Blyth Spartans can confirm that Neal Hooks has left Blyth Spartans by mutual agreement. Hooks spent a decade at Croft Park as a player before stepping into the management set up under Alun Armstrong. During his time as a player, Hooks made 270 appearances for Blyth, scoring on 15 occasions. Long-serving midfielder Neal Hooks has been drafted in as part of the Blyth Spartans management team, acting as assistant to manager Tom Wade.
