Spartans saddened to learn the passing of Eddie Turney

Blyth Spartans are deeply saddened to learn the passing of lifelong supporter, former player and director Eddie Turney. Eddie played for Spartans during the 1950s alongside his brother, Jim, Frank and John. He went onto to become a director at Croft Park and supported the club through thick and thin. Blyth Spartans meant a great deal to Eddie. Our thoughts are with Eddie’s friends and family at this sad time.
