Blyth Spartans Chairman Tony Platten said:
“I’m thinking about the future of the club and the town, TEXO are a really good company, a company that is investing heavily in the Port of Blyth.
“We are just one part of what makes Blyth tick, the football club and the industrial development in the town.
“The whole thing – the town, the football club and the businesses situated here are all working together to bring the community together.
“TEXO want to be part of the community, the directors of the company are not only committed to put their business into the Port of Blyth, but to make their business part of the town.
“They’ve done this in Aberdeen, and are a huge supporter of Aberdeen Football Club, they have a real interest in football.”
We’d like to give a big thank you to TEXO for supporting our club, and the town of Blyth, and look forward to a long lasting relationship with our newest sponsor.
