The award for the SpartansFans Player of the Month for September goes to hardworking Centre Forward Anthony Hume
The striker averaged 7.60 for the month and was instrumental in changing the direction of the FA Cup clash with Whitby Town, where his strong running and hard work ethic prevented the Whitby defenders from having a comfortable afternoon. His only goal of the month came in the Setanta Shield game with Burscough
Three other players were in the running with Gareth Williams, Robert Dale and last month’s winner Richard Pell all scoring 7.33 for the month.
