The month started badly for the Spartans in February with a horror show which saw the Spartans beaten by fellow relegation battlers Burscough, better was to follow with a spirited display (albeit we still lost) at Fleetwood and a battling point at high fying Alfreton Town.
The person who typified the restored fight and belief in Spartans ranks was returning midfielder Chris McCabe who had been injured for the last few games, but returned to put in two ‘Star Man’ showings. His average for the month was 7.50
