Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of experienced target man Andy Jennings from Billingham Synthonia.
Upon completion of the deal that will see the 29-year-old Teesider head to Croft Park, manager Paddy Atkinson commented “We’re pleased to get him on board, we’re trying to build a squad that is right for the demands of this league and Andy is the kind of player that we think will be ideal, as he will bring an entirely different dimension to our play.
“He’s 6 foot 5 and will win the majority of his headers, we are hoping that he gets amongst the goals, as he has done throughout his career, but also that we can use his strengths to benefit the players around him.”
Andy will go straight into the squad for this Saturday’s home game with Witton Albion (kick off 3pm)
