Scott Bell Benefit Game – Total Raised

The match on Saturday between Blyth Spartans XI and Bedlington Terriers XI was the final day of a number of fund raising initiatives all in aid of the Scott Bell Fund.

Many thanks to all Spartans and Terriers players, both old and new, who turned out on Saturday.

Many thanks to the many people who helped on the day.

The club, however, would like to give an extra special mention to Fergus Dowd, Tony Parker and Kevin Little, for their work in organising the cycle ride, auction, etc.

Finally thanks to the many friends of Scott who contributed to the following funds:-

Gate and Donations from Saturday – £2,819 (including £200 donation from the Terriers)
Donation from food/fair – £100
Mini Auction – £352
Programme sales – £50
Main auction – £5,668

Total at the time of writing – £8,989

The total raised from the “Dublin2Blyth” bike ride is still to be added to this total!

It should also be noted that a SECOND website auction will be organised soon, as we have collected items too late to be included in the first auction, so watch this space!
