Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of former Newcastle United winger James Marwood and Jarrow Roofing striker Michael Hepplewhite. Marwood, 19, is the son of former Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday player Brian and is a fast winger, who provides of good crosses and is capable of shooting from distance. Charity Trek A Huge Success

Guest of honour at Saturday’s game with Eastwood Town were three members of the ‘Mick O’Brien Supporters Club’ based in Dublin, Ireland.
