Blyth Spartans are pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Burton as the club’s new media manager, with Niall Bromley as assistant.
Stephen will be moving from his role as press officer, which he has held since March 2019. He will replace Jordan Cronin who, after four years volunteering at the club, stepped down as media manager in November.
Niall will continue with his commentary role on Blyth Live, but now will assume more responsibility as assistant media manager.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to take on this role at a club I’ve grown to love over the last two years or so, and I’m excited to lead such a talented team of volunteers,” Stephen said. “The challenge of carrying on from Jordan’s fantastic work is something I’m looking forward to and can’t wait to get started.”
Niall added: “I’m honoured to be part of the media team at a club I have supported all my life. I’m very much looking forward to this new role and delighted at being able to combine this with my commentary duties. Howay Blyth!”
The club would also once again like to express its gratitude to Jordan for the hard work and dedication he has shown the club during his time here, and we wish him all the best for the future.
