TEAM NEWS
This is a fixture which often brings goals and one which Blyth seem to relish playing. Stamford are currently placed in the last relegation spot, four points from safety and will be looking to scrap for their survival, whilst Spartans look towards the title race alongside Darlington 1883. Earlier in the season saw a Robbie Dale hat-trick help towards a 4-3 home win over Stamford, a repeat result would be helpful heading into the bank holiday Monday tie, at home to promotion rivals Workington.

A Nathan Buddle goal was the decider against Matlock Town last Saturday where Blyth picked up three points. That game also saw Dan Maguire dismissed by referee Lindsey Robinson, but Dan will be available for the trip to Stamford before the suspension kicks in.

The Stamford game is a very important tie ahead for Spartans as we end the month with two big games which could decide our fate coming into the month of April. Is the title race over? Not until the fat lady sings, as they say. We focus on each game and what will be, will be.
