TEAM NEWS

Blyth make the short trip to Morpeth on Wednesday night looking to secure their place in the Techflow Group Northumberland Senior Cup Final.

The Spartans reached the semi-final stage as they triumphed against Bedlington Terriers in the previous round. Jordan Laidler put Blyth ahead when his curling effort deceived the ‘keeper. Greg Rutherford grabbed a brace in-between a fantastic free-kick from Robbie Dale as it finished 4-0.

Morpeth saw off the challenge of North Shields to progress to this stage. Keith Graydon, Liam Henderson and Michael Turner grabbed the goals for the Highwaymen.
