TEAM NEWS
5 games to go and Blyth are still very much in the title race. We travel down to struggling Hyde United tonight in the hunt for an additional 3 points. Having recorded a late winner at Ilkeston on Saturday, we have now surpassed our best ‘away record’ with 15 wins on the board from a possible 21. Robbie Dale is now onto 23 league goals, following 2 braces in as many games.

With the Manchester side battling from the relegation zone, Dale will need to get his side motivated from the off to help towards a better first half performance to what happened in Derbyshire on Saturday.

Dan Maguire is on game 2 of 3 in his suspension, Kneeshaw will most likely lead the line, with fellow weekend brace goalscorer Sean Reid just behind him. Robbie and Wearmouth will cause bother down the wings, which they have done since game number 1 back in August. A win tonight for Blyth will almost mathematically certify a play off position for Spartans. If the game ends in a draw or a Hyde United win, Ramsbottom United will be relegated from the league.
