TEAM NEWS
Blyth travel to South Newsham Pavilion to take on local rivals Blyth Town, in this eagerly anticipated Techflow Group Northumberland Senior Cup semi-final. The winners will go on to play North Shields in the final.

The Spartans made it this far with an emphatic and comprehensive 11-1 demolition of Bedlington Terriers. Michael Richardson grabbed four, Jarrett Rivers scored three, there was a brace from Sean Reid and even individual efforts from Robert Dale and Matty Pattison as well

Blyth Town reached the semi-finals by disposing of Team Northumbria in a closely fought contest. An own goal and an effort from Morien were enough to see off the Students.

There has only ever been one competitive meeting between the sides, with the Spartans winning 5-1 in a Northumberland Senior Cup quarter-final back in 2006.
