TEAM NEWS
Blyth welcome Tamworth to Croft Park on Saturday, as the hosts look to register their first points of the season.

The Spartans tasted their second defeat in four days on Tuesday evening – as FA Trophy holders York City left with all three points. Goals from Jon Parkin and Sean Newton gave the visitors a 2-0 victory. Blyth were unlucky to have not been ahead before the opening goal, however, after good chances fell the way of Dan Maguire and Macaulay Langstaff.

Tamworth also succumbed to an opening day of the season loss, with Bradford Park Avenue claiming the spoils the Lamb Ground . On Tuesday, this weekend’s visitors travelled to newly-promoted Leamington and claimed a 2-1 win, thanks to goals from Andy Burns and Aman Verma.
