TEAM NEWS

Blyth host Halesowen on Saturday looking to extend their winning run to 4 games. The last time the two sides met was back in November when Spartans won a topsy-turvy game 4-3 in the Buildabase FA Trophy. Nathan Buddle and Daniel Maguire scored in the first half before a late brace from Matty Pattison.

On Tuesday evening, Spartans recorded a valuable victory at Rushall Olympic thanks to a fine goal from Daniel Maguire. Our visitors won 2-1 at Hednesford Town as goals from Bragoli and Charlton secured the points at Keys Park.

The Yeltz are currently in 17th position with 49 points and knowing that they need to pick up a couple of more wins to be mathematically secure. Blyth meanwhile know that a victory will seal the championship and promotion back the Vanarama National League North.
