TEAM NEWS

Blyth Spartans host Darlington in what is an eagerly anticipated North East clash in the Vanarama National League North on Saturday.

The Spartans will want to bounce back to winning ways after coming away from Brackley empty-handed last Saturday. Dan Maguire had fired Blyth into a first half lead, however, Brackley hit back with three goals of their own to run out 3-1 victors.

Darlington picked up 3 points as they dispatched Bradford Park Avenue 2-1. An own goal and Josh Gillies but the Quakers into a commanding two goal lead and it wasn’t until stoppage time that Bradford got on to the score sheet.
