Spartans take a break from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League duty as we start our FA Cup campaign for the season when Garforth Town visit Croft Park tomorrow for a First Qualifying Round match.
Following Tuesday’s win at Stocksbridge Park Steels, Spartans will hope to carry on their recent up turn in form and overcome the Yorkshire outfit. Tom Berj will look to make a comeback from his foot injury and striker Phil Airey will be available after missing the win at the Look Local Stadium. Recent signing Neal Hooks is cup tied after playing for previous club Spennymoor in the preliminary round at Scarborough Athletic.
Garforth Town progressed to the First Qualifying Round with a 1-0 win over Wakefield and will be looking to improve on their recent form which sees them sitting second from both of the Evo-Stik First Division North. They have lost four and drawn one of their five league fixtures so far scoring four and conceding fourteen in the process.
