As reported on here last week, Blyth Spartans’ own Michael Tait was in running for the E.ON sponsored FA Cup Player of the Round for his hattrick exploits against Ossett Albion.
Sadly Michael didn’t win, the honour going to Northwich Victoria’s Mark Danks.
Unlucky Michael, you’ll just have to score a hattrick in the next round and try again!
