TEAM NEWS
Spartans are back on the road just 2 days after the FA Cup celebrations with a trip to newly promoted Curzon Ashton. The Lancashire side are currently sat 3rd in the league and hold a strong home record. With Blyth having 3 or 4 games in hand on the majority of the league ahead of them, points are going to be needed as games come piled up after a period of time of cup action.

Neal Hooks started from the bench on Saturday with Dan Hawkins coming in to replace the midfielder, who was suffering from a hamstring injury. FA Cup hero Jarrett Rivers also started from the bench but made a big impact on his arrival on the pitch at Mickleover. Just 2 days after the tie, Blyth manager Tom Wade may want to rest some of his team in case of aggravated knocks being collected.
