Blyth Spartans AFC is extremely saddened to learn about the passing of lifelong supporter Richard Shevlin, aged 48.
Richard, whose grandfather originally played for Spartans in the 1920s, lived in North Wales and was an ardent fan – attending all games across the North West.
Here he is (middle) below attending our FA Trophy last 16 tie at Leyton Orient in February 2019.
Richard, a member of the 1899 Club, also attended all cup games and visited Croft Park when possible.
Our deepest condolences and thoughts go out to Richard’s wife Olivia, daughters Abigail and Freya, family and friends.
