Community news | Easter soccer camps a success

Blyth Spartans AFC resumed its community programme during the Easter school holiday, once lockdown had eased, with a series of soccer camps. The camps were organised by the club in conjunction with Dugout Coaching, who delivered the practical element of the courses. Blyth Spartans receive special recognition from the North East Football Writers’ Association

Blyth Spartans were among the North East Non-League clubs who were received special recognition from the North East Football Writers’ Association for their achievements in the 2016-17 campaign. The annual awards ceremony – which was hosted was Ramside Hall, Durham – took place on Sunday night, with three clubs given special commemorated.
