The club can announce that it has signed Goalkeeper Sam Grieveson on Blue Square North forms for this season. The 17 year old, who was recently released by Norwich City, has been on trial at Newcastle United before joining up with us. Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of former Newcastle United winger James Marwood and Jarrow Roofing striker Michael Hepplewhite. Marwood, 19, is the son of former Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday player Brian and is a fast winger, who provides of good crosses and is capable of shooting from distance.
