The booking Wayne Buchanan received in the Guiseley game on Tuesday, was the defenders 5th booking this season. As a result the central defender will have to sit out one game through suspension and, as things stand, will miss the fixture away to Workington on 26 December.
Blyth Spartans can announce that the loan deal for midfielder Robert Briggs is at an end and the player will return to his parent club Gateshead. Blyth Spartans can confirm that goalkeeper David Knight has signed for the club on a premanent basis following his release from Blue Square Bet North side Histon. Blyth Spartans can confirm that midfielder Adam Forster has been loaned to South Shields for one month, in order to play first team games. The youngster, who signed a two year deal with the club in the summer, has featured 14 times in the Spartans first team this season so far.
The club can confirm that Huddersfield Town have agreed to extend the loan period for central defender Greg Pearson. The new loan arrangement will expire on January 3rd 2012.
