There was another full house in the sponsors room for Saturday’s home game against a rapidly improving FC United of Manchester team. Spennymoor match ON

After an early morning inspection found some surface water on the pitch ground staff and helpers manager to clear the pitch and a local referee confirm that the derby game against Spennymoor can go ahead. With may other local matches cancelled there is hope for a bumper crowd on what is looking like a sunny if cold afternoon.

FA Trophy Tie against AFC Telford ON

Staff were at Croft Park early this morning to check the pitch after a rise in temperature overnight. They found the pitch to be in good condition. Groundsman Peter Henderson was marking the pitch and a  few  minor issues relating to frozen plumbing were resolved. The temperature is set to rise to about 10 C this afternoon and stay mild all evening so we look forward to a good crowd…
