Blyth Spartans got their 2021-22 National League North campaign underway at Croft Park in front of a crowd of 1200+. After a balanced first half, a brace from JJ O’Donnell in the second half secured all three points for the Spartans. A selection of images from the game by Bill Broadley.

Blyth Spartans bounced back from there friendly defeat on Saturday to South Shields, running out 2-1 winners over League 2 new boys Hartlepool Utd at Croft Park. Spartans led 1-0 at the break before doubling their lead in the second half. The visitors pulled one back very late in the game, but it was to be the Spartans night in front of a 815 crowd.
