Blyth Spartans AGM will be held in the Social Club on Thursday 12th August 7:30pm. This will be followed by an Open Forum at approximately 8pm, the Executive Committee and Manager Mick Tait will be available for questions and answers.

North Shields footballer Anthony Lowther sadly passed away in January 2010 after a short illness. He was a Civil Servant and lived in Hadrian Park with his wife and baby son. He was a popular player throughout the local semi-professional scene and represented Life University USA, Atlanta Legends, Prudhoe Town, Tow Law Town, Blyth Spartans, Newcastle Benfield, Bedlington Terriers and finally North Shields. Appeal by Northwich Victoria against a decision of the Football Conference. Blyth Spartans would like to thank all the attendees at Friday’s annual sportsman’s dinner, which once again was a very enjoyable evening for all. Thanks to Chris Lowther, Fergus Dowd and Dan Rolls for their contributions to the auction items which raised £945 for the family of former player Anthony Lowther and £100 for the RNLI.
