Alun Armstrong has made his first signing as Blyth Spartans manager – as Damen Mullen makes a return to the club from Morpeth Town.
After a three-year spell at Spartans, Mullen had left for the Northern League side over the summer and featured against Blyth in the club’s Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round defeat to the current FA Vase holders earlier this season.
The versatile midfielder – who can also play at full-back – goes straight into Spartans’ squad for tomorrow’s Buildbase FA Trophy tie at Goole.
