“I’d like to thank everyone at Blyth, it’s been nothing but an absolute pleasure and I’ve loved every second of it.
“The supporters who follow the club all over the country have been brilliant with me since day one, I speak for all the lads when I say playing at Croft park when the fans get behind the team is something else.
“I’m going to miss them moments. I’d like to thank Alun for his support and advise on taking the role, Alun, Darren, Neal and Belly have been unbelievable to work with and they will continue to move the club forward to new heights I’ve got no doubt about that.
“The lads are a great bunch, it’s going to be tough for them not having me to protect them when they get in scuffles on the pitch but I’m hoping Wrighty steps up to the mark.
“I’m really sad to be leaving but this is a great opportunity for me and one I’m excited about. Thank you to everyone at Blyth for everything.”
