CHRIS McCABE – FEBRUARY 2009
The month of February saw the Spartans play only three matches, the first was a performance against Burscough, which manager Harry Dunn described as ’embarrassing’ and ‘disgraceful’. The two remaining games saw the Spartans roll up their sleeves and at least try and complete in the games. This was helped in no small part by the return of midfield talisman Chris McCabe who put in two typically strong and committed performances to take this month’s award
