MAN OF THE MATCH

Neal Hooks

The quality of his delivery from set pieces kept the hosts pinned in their own half for much of the opening period. His inch perfect ball for Michael Tait saw Blyth take the lead after 13 minutes and he retained possession well in an overcrowded midfield department.

Despite coming under pressure from Whitby in the second period Hooks continued to look comfortable on the ball and orchestrated some decisive counter attacking moves.
