Blyth Spartans have announced that manager Mick Tait has signed up for another season with the Blue Square North club.
“We’re absolutely delighted Mick has agreed to stay with us,” commented Blyth Chairman Tony Platten.
“We made progress last season and will be looking to build on that the next time around. Mick has brought in some quality players and developed an attractive way of playing which has given us a solid base which I’m convinced we can build on.”
Tait said “I really enjoyed my first season back at Croft Park and although consistency was a problem I think we were better than previous years and I’ll certainly be looking to push on from here. With three or four new signings I believe we can do just that.”
