Blyth Spartans AFC announces five pre-season friendlies, as Michael Nelson’s side prepare for the 2021/22 National League North campaign. Preparations for the new season officially get underway on Saturday, July 10th when Blyth visit Northern Premier League West side Marske United. Refunds | Postponed South Shields friendly

Supporters who purchased tickets for our postponed friendly with South Shields on Saturday can claim refunds from Wednesday. Refunds can be claimed from Croft Park between 10pm and 12pm on Wednesday and Thursday morning, Additionally, supporters can claim their refund from our social club on Thursday evening between 6pm and 7pm. Arrival | Ex-Newcastle man signs for Spartans

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce the signing of former Newcastle United goalkeeper Brendan Pearson.  Pearson, 23, has been training with Spartans for the last two months and has appeared in all three of the club’s pre-season fixtures so far – impressing manager Michael Nelson.  Having been a part of Newcastle’s academy, Pearson signed his first professional contract with the Magpies in 2016 – which included a loan spell…
