A selection of match action photos by Bill Broadley from the pre-season friendly against Middlesbrough U23’s at Croft Park. Although the game was goalless after 90minutes of football, Spartans did have a number of opportunities to break the deadlock; hitting the wood work twice. The visitors, also had a number of chances, but thanks to Blyth Keeper Alex Mitchell who pulled off a number of high quality saves.

Blyth Spartans AFC announces five pre-season friendlies, as Michael Nelson’s side prepare for the 2021/22 National League North campaign. Preparations for the new season officially get underway on Saturday, July 10th when Blyth visit Northern Premier League West side Marske United.
