Blyth Spartans AFC has today parted company with manager Michael Nelson through mutual consent. Michael departs having first joined the club in March 2020. During his time at Croft Park, Michael worked tirelessly during difficult times as the club battled through the Covid-19 pandemic. Blyth Spartans got their 2021-22 National League North campaign underway at Croft Park in front of a crowd of 1200+. After a balanced first half, a brace from JJ O’Donnell in the second half secured all three points for the Spartans. A selection of images from the game by Bill Broadley.
